At Always Approved ("we", "us", "our"), protecting your personal and financial data is our highest priority. All data submitted through our application forms (including `alwaysapproved.ca/apply`) is immediately encrypted using bank-grade AES-256 encryption. We collect basic contact information, employment status, and residential history strictly for the purpose of securing your auto financing.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used exclusively to pair you with the appropriate subprime or prime lending institution within our network of 65+ lenders. We do not sell your data to third-party marketing agencies.

3. Credit Pulls and Inquiries

Submitting a pre-approval application on our site does not trigger a hard inquiry on your Equifax or TransUnion report until you have spoken with an advisor and explicitly authorized the finalization of the vehicle contract. Our initial matching process protects your score.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as mathematically necessary to process your active loan file, or as required by Ontario and Canadian financial regulations.

5. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and request corrections.
